CPR/BLS for Healthcare Professionals Level 2 (VTQ) Refresher at a Glance

This course provides essential basic life support (BLS) skills, including techniques for adults, children, and infants, as well as healthcare-specific variations for infant CPR. It covers critical topics such as safety precautions, initial assessment, recovery position, CPR, compression-only CPR, CPR handover, and managing choking incidents. The course aligns with the latest European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and UK Resuscitation Council Guidelines and is designed for Healthcare Professionals with a duty to respond.

This version is intended for learners who have previously completed BLS training and require a skills refresher every six months. If your existing certificate is nearing its one-year expiration, this course is not suitable for you. Instead, you should enroll in our full BLS for healthcare professionals course, which is available with or without AED training.

ProTrainings Basic Life Support courses are designed to meet all required learning outcomes and align with the Skills for Health UK Core Skills Training Framework (UK-CSTF), covering both Level 2 adult and pediatric patient care. The course is also Skills for Care Endorsed and follows the Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines for adult and peadiatric CPR and BLS.
